In brief
GBZ is the GBZ420 house blend, derived from THCX. The idea is to keep real impact while making it smoother and more controlled than straight THCX, without losing intensity. It is very strong. It comes as flowers, resins and a pre-roll, across the GBZ+ and GBZ ranges.
What GBZ is
GBZ is the GBZ420 “house blend”: a blend developed in-house and derived from THCX. Its goal, as the product pages put it, is simple: keep real impact, make the experience more mellow than straight THCX, and still hit hard.
To be clear: GBZ is very strong. It is simply smoother, more controlled and easier to enjoy, without losing intensity. That balance is presented as the signature of every GBZ+ profile.
GBZ vs THCX: the difference
GBZ is derived from THCX, but it is described as more mellow than straight THCX: the same presence, with a smoother and better controlled feel. The GBZ product pages also state that its effects have nothing to do with those of CBD.
The GBZ version of Gorilla Glue Small Buds illustrates the difference: it uses the GBZ formula instead of THCX or 10-OH-HHC, with a different profile that is described as deep, calm and creative.

How to choose
- The format: flower for its aroma profile, resin or hash for a more compact material, pre-roll for a joint that is already rolled.
- Texture and aroma: silky, spicy resin (Californian Hash), golden pollen with herbal notes (Supreme Pollen), sweet and creamy flower (Sugar Cream), earthy and resinous profile (Gorilla Glue).
- Quantity: the Small Buds focus on larger quantities with small, compact buds.
- Intensity: the product pages describe GBZ as very strong. The GBZ+ pre-roll is even presented as extremely strong and meant for experienced users; its page advises taking slow draws and waiting for the effects before continuing.
